In the News: Digital preservation dispute

Good and Evil in the Garden of Digitization

Google's digitization of books lead to legal investigation that may have enormous long term influence on the future of digital preservation. I often wondered about the copyright issues with Google Books. I've enjoyed saving books to my digital library on Google. I wonder how this legal issue will turn out.
